Disgraced actor Kevin Spacey has made a strange comeback with his annual Christmas Eve videos, this time taking on his "House of Cards" persona, Frank Underwood. In a peculiar twist, Spacey sat down with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, using the opportunity to criticize his former employer, Netflix.

During the interview, Carlson asked Spacey if he still watched Netflix. Spacey, embodying his character's intensity, responded by pounding his fist on the table, exclaiming, "Boom, boom. So it is bizarre they decided to publicly cut ties with me on allegations alone, allegations that have now been proven false. Because I don't think there's any question. Netflix exists because of me. I put them on the map and they tried to put me in the ground."

"House of Cards," the hit political drama, made history as the first Netflix original series to receive Emmy nominations since its debut in February 2013. Spacey portrayed the ruthless politician Frank Underwood, who manipulates his way to becoming the President of the United States. However, following allegations of sexual assault, Spacey was removed from the show during its sixth season.

In 2022, Spacey vehemently denied all sexual assault accusations, instead claiming to be a "big flirt." A U.K. jury earlier this year found Spacey not guilty of nine charges, including sexual assault, indecent assault, and causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity.

Expanding on his Frank Underwood persona, Spacey hinted at a potential presidential bid in the interview with Carlson. While the comments may have been delivered in jest, given the controversial nature surrounding Spacey's past behavior and the impact it had on his career, it remains to be seen if such ambitions hold any weight.

Spacey's Christmas videos have become increasingly bizarre in recent years, attracting a mix of curiosity and bewilderment from the public. However, his latest video, teaming up with Carlson to criticize Netflix, raises questions about his intentions and the extent of his desire to revive his tainted reputation.

As the interview concluded, viewers were left with a sense of intrigue and uncertainty surrounding Spacey's future endeavors. With his contributions to "House of Cards" undeniable, despite the controversies surrounding his personal life, it remains to be seen if Spacey can carve out a path to redemption or if he will forever be remembered for the allegations that have tarnished his career.
