The 35-year-old dancer and actress visited hairstylist Riawna Capri at Nine Zero One salon but decided to take matters into her own hands.

A clip shared on social media shows Julianne confidently sitting in the barber's chair as Capri exclaims, "All herself, here we go." With a playful attitude, Julianne chops off inches of her hair, remarking, "I'm cutting my own hair. Oh, that's so fun! At least I don't second guess and just go for it."

The Dancing With the Stars co-host captioned the clip, expressing her desire to let go of old energy and embrace the new. She reflected on the symbolism of hair as an outward expression of the decisions we make and the internal journeys we go through. Julianne also shared that even though it was a rainy day, the sun was shining brightly, accompanied by a double rainbow, which she interpreted as signs of prosperity and a fresh start.

Julianne concluded her post with a friendly reminder, "#donttrythisathome🚫," acknowledging that cutting one's own hair may not be for everyone.

Amid her personal hair transformation, Julianne has also been supporting her brother, Derek Hough, and his wife, Hayley Erbert, during a challenging time. Last month, Hayley was hospitalized for a cranial hematoma, a condition caused by a blood vessel bursting in the brain. She underwent multiple surgeries to address the issue. Julianne reached out to her followers, asking for prayers and sending healing thoughts to Hayley.

According to the Mayo Clinic, a cranial hematoma can be life-threatening and requires immediate medical attention. Thankfully, doctors were able to successfully perform a cranioplasty surgery to remove the blood from Hayley's brain.

Expressing immense relief and gratitude, Derek updated their followers on Hayley's progress in a post shared on December 21. He expressed his appreciation for the medical team involved, particularly highlighting Dr. Mai, who performed the surgery and saved Hayley's life two weeks earlier.

Derek and Hayley have been overwhelmed by the support and prayers from their friends, family, and fans. In a heartfelt message, Derek expressed how the outpouring of love and care has brought them strength and comfort during this challenging time.
