In a hilarious and star-studded promo that aired on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," late-night host Jimmy Kimmel receives assistance from the cast of Barbie as he prepares to host the 96th Academy Awards. Ryan Gosling, Kate McKinnon, and America Ferrera reprise their "Barbie" roles in the clip, which sets the stage for the upcoming Oscars ceremony on March 10.

Despite being a seasoned Oscar host, Kimmel finds himself directionless in the first promo. Luckily, he receives guidance from Helen Mirren, who narrates the clip as Kimmel follows in actress Margot Robbie's footsteps. Seeking advice from McKinnon's character, Weird Barbie, Kimmel embarks on a journey to "OscarsLand."

The promo takes viewers on a colorful montage of Oscar-nominated films, with Kimmel and McKinnon making stops along the way. The duo encounters a glimpse of "weirder Barbie," played by Emma Stone in the film "Poor Things." Kimmel also playfully points out Matt Damon during a recreation of the Oppenheimer set, fueling their ongoing faux feud.

During their travels, Kimmel receives a pep talk from Ferrera, who references her famous Barbie monologue. However, instead of focusing on the difficulties of womanhood, she humorously explains why hosting the Oscars is the worst gig in Hollywood. Kimmel's misinterpretation leads to a humorous exchange about the challenges of being a woman versus hosting the prestigious awards show.

As the journey continues, Kimmel is surprised by a visit from Ken, played by Gosling, who brings a bag of In-N-Out, mimicking Paul Giamatti's cameo. Kimmel also discovers, much to his disbelief, that Greta Gerwig isn't nominated for Best Director for her work on "Barbie."

Throughout the clip, Mirren's voice reminds viewers that while girls grow into women, not all boys grow into men. The amusing promo serves as a reminder of Jimmy Kimmel's hosting duties and the excitement surrounding Barbie's eight Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor (Gosling), Best Supporting Actress (Ferrera), and Best Adapted Screenplay (Gerwig and Baumbach).

The 96th Academy Awards ceremony will take place on March 10 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. As revealed in the promo, the show will air live on ABC at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, an hour earlier than usual.

With the help of "Weird Barbie" and Ken, Jimmy Kimmel is sure to bring his signature wit and humor to the Oscars stage once again.
