In a recent interview, actor Jerry O'Connell tactfully addressed questions regarding his ex-wife Rebecca Romijn and her previous marriage to fellow actor John Stamos. During an appearance on "Access," O'Connell chose to keep his opinions to himself when asked about Stamos' revealing memoir, titled "If You Would Have Told Me."

When asked if Stamos' comments about his divorce from Romijn came as a "shocker," O'Connell diplomatically responded, "You know, it's not really my place to say [anything]. I would rather my wife talk about that." O'Connell, who is now married to Romijn, deflected the attention to her, indicating that she should be the one to address the matter if she chooses to do so.

Surprisingly, O'Connell revealed that he and Romijn had no prior knowledge of the contents of Stamos' memoir, stating, "We find out just like anyone else." This suggests that the couple was unaware of the revelations until the book hit shelves on Tuesday, sparking widespread interest and media attention.

With Stamos actively promoting his new memoir and making headlines with its juicy revelations, O'Connell jokingly admitted that he knew better than to comment on the matter. "My wife and I are getting along so well today," he quipped, implying that he preferred to maintain a harmonious relationship and avoid stirring unnecessary controversy.

Before Romijn tied the knot with O'Connell in 2007, she was famously married to Stamos, with their whirlwind romance beginning in 1994. Stamos and Romijn later married in 1998, only to finalize their divorce in 2005. Their relationship, both on and off screen, gained significant attention.

Romijn and O'Connell's love story commenced in 2004, while she was still going through the process of divorcing Stamos. The couple shares twin daughters, Charlie Tamara Tulip and Dolly Rebecca Rose, who were born in 2008.

Notably, Stamos recently shared candid insights about his relationship with Romijn in an interview with People magazine. He confessed to "hating" her at the time of their separation and referred to her as the "devil." Stamos also expressed feeling emasculated as Romijn's career soared while his own stalled.

In contrast, Romijn offered kind words about her ex-husband during a previous appearance on "The Talk" alongside O'Connell. Reflecting on the start of their relationship, she described their divorce as "heartbreaking" and shared that she cherished many fond memories of the "Full House" actor.

Divorce is undoubtedly a challenging experience, and Romijn acknowledged the sadness associated with letting go of certain aspects of their shared life. Despite the twists and turns of their past, both Romijn and Stamos have moved on and found happiness with new partners.

As fans eagerly await Romijn's response to Stamos' memoir, it remains to be seen how she will address the revelations and navigate the public interest in their past relationship. In the meantime, Jerry O'Connell maintains his silence, choosing to support his wife's decision on whether to speak out or keep their personal matters private.
