In a shocking turn of events, well-known interior designer Brooke Gomez was discovered deceased in her Upper East Side apartment over the weekend. Gomez, who worked with Bravo star Bethenny Frankel and appeared on her show Bethenny Ever After, was found unresponsive by officials on Sunday evening.

The New York City Police Deputy Commissioner of Public Information confirmed that authorities arrived at Gomez's residence around 8 p.m. local time. Tragically, the designer was found in an advanced state of decomposition. Born into a family with architectural and design backgrounds, Gomez honed her skills by working alongside her mother, the esteemed decorator Mariette Himes Gomez, at Gomez Associates. After gaining significant experience, Gomez went on to establish her own firm, Brooke Gomez Design, in 2019.

Gomez's talent and reputation led her to collaborate with Bethenny Frankel, featuring on the second season of Frankel's Real Housewives spinoff series, Bethenny Ever After. During her appearance, Gomez was tasked with designing Frankel's luxurious Tribeca loft. In addition to her work with Frankel, Gomez's website boasts recent projects completed for renowned figures, including Michael J. Fox and Sigourney Weaver.
