Actor Jacob Elordi, known for his role in the hit show 'Euphoria', is now under investigation by the New South Wales (NSW) police following an alleged assault on a news reporter. The incident occurred outside a hotel in Sydney, Australia, where Elordi was staying in preparation for the AACTA Awards on the Gold Coast on February 10.

The altercation took place when Joshua Fox, a staffer from KIIS FM, approached Elordi outside the Clovelly Hotel and began asking him questions. It seems that Elordi became irritated by the line of questioning, escalating the situation into a heated confrontation. According to reports, Elordi allegedly assaulted Fox.

In response to the incident, a statement from the NSW Police confirmed that the Eastern Beaches Police Area Command is currently investigating the alleged assault. The statement mentioned that on Saturday, February 3, at approximately 3:30 pm, a 32-year-old man (Fox) was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man (Elordi). Thankfully, Fox did not sustain any injuries.

While dealing with this legal matter, Elordi recently shared his uncertainty regarding the filming schedule for the upcoming season three of 'Euphoria'. During an appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', he humorously mentioned how he hopes the filming begins soon to avoid any physical setbacks.

Elordi's co-star Sydney Sweeney, who plays alongside him in 'Euphoria', opened up about the tragic death of another cast member, Angus Cloud. She revealed that the entire cast was devastated by Cloud's accidental drug overdose in July.
