In a recent incident during a Disney on Ice performance of "Beauty and the Beast" at Target Center in Minneapolis, professional skater Anastasia Olson, 31, who portrays Princess Belle, was seriously injured and is currently hospitalized.
According to a spokesperson for Feld Entertainment, the parent company of Disney on Ice, Olson was injured while performing a lift during a pair skating routine and fell. She was immediately rushed to a local hospital for treatment. The incident occurred during the 11 a.m. show on Saturday.
Authorities at Hennepin County Medical Center have confirmed that Olson is in serious condition as of Monday afternoon. No further information on her health status has been released.
