Dancing With the Stars judge, Carrie Ann Inaba, recently opened up about her experience touring with pop icon Madonna, revealing the strict rules and lessons she learned during that time. Inaba described working for the "Material Girl" singer as a dream job, despite the demanding conditions.

During her appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Inaba shared details about the one rule Madonna implemented for her dancers. "Back in the day, she was very strict," Inaba stated. "She gave us this one rule, which I'm so grateful she did. It was, for every minute you're late, you have to pay her $100 out of your paycheck."

Inaba acknowledged that while this rule could have been seen as frustrating, she was thankful for it. As a result, she has developed a strict punctuality habit and now always arrives on time, if not early.

Reflecting on her time touring with Madonna, Inaba expressed how much of a dream come true it was. "There was like Michael [Jackson], Prince, and Madonna at the time. Right? I got on Madonna's tour, and I was like, 'That's all I need,'" she reminisced. After her tour with Madonna, Inaba decided to "retire" from dancing at the age of 23 and pursued higher education. "As a dancer, you're kind of put out to pasture when you're 25."

However, retirement from dancing didn't halt Inaba's career. Since 2005, she has been a respected judge on the hit show Dancing With the Stars, captivating audiences with her expert opinions and dance expertise. In addition, she has appeared as an actor and choreographer on various shows, even making appearances as a choreographer on Hannah Montana. Recently, she has taken on a new role, stepping in to replace Julie Chen on The Talk.

Carrie Ann Inaba's time spent touring with Madonna may have been challenging due to the strict rules, but it undoubtedly shaped her work ethic and professionalism. The experience continues to be a cherished memory for Inaba as she continues to make her mark in the entertainment industry.
