In a recent episode of Molly Sims' "Lipstick on the Rim" podcast, Cameron Diaz finally addressed the long-standing rumors that Jamie Foxx's behavior on the set of their movie "Back in Action" caused her to quit acting for the second time. Diaz, 51, strongly denied these claims, stating that they couldn't have been further from the truth.

During the podcast, the "Bad Teacher" star specifically mentioned the rumors that Foxx was allegedly "making everything miserable" behind the scenes, leading to her decision to never make another movie again. Diaz dismissed these reports, maintaining that there were simply "hiccups" on set, which she described as the "natural things that happen."

However, Diaz did acknowledge one unexpected delay that occurred during filming: Foxx's weeks-long hospitalization. Although she didn't delve into details, Diaz mentioned that it wasn't her place to speak about it and revealed that Foxx, 56, is now "thriving".

"Back in Action" marks Diaz's return to Hollywood movies after a hiatus since 2014 when she stepped away from acting to start a family. The film is also the third project in which Diaz and Foxx have co-starred, previously working together on "Any Given Sunday" and "Annie".

While Foxx has not directly addressed the rumored feud between him and Diaz, he briefly discussed the mystery illness that left him unable to walk. The Oscar winner has chosen not to disclose his diagnosis.

Fans of Diaz have eagerly awaited her return to the big screen, and her clarification of the rumors surrounding the "Back in Action" set is a relief to many. It appears that the alleged discord on set was greatly exaggerated, and Diaz is excited to be back doing what she loves.

As the release date for "Back in Action" approaches, moviegoers can look forward to Diaz's captivating performance alongside Foxx, as the talented duo reunite on screen once again.

The official release date for "Back in Action" has not yet been announced, but with Diaz dispelling the rumors and setting the record straight, anticipation for the film is certainly building.
