In his Instagram post, Sheppard recounted the terrifying incident, stating, "Was on my way to an appointment yesterday when I collapsed in my kitchen. Six massive heart attacks later, and being brought back from dead four times, I apparently had a 100 percent blockage in my LAD." The actor credited his wife, the Los Angeles Fire Department at Mulholland, and the staff at Providence California St Joseph's for ensuring his survival, emphasizing that his chances of survival were initially "virtually nil."
Despite the life-threatening situation, Sheppard expressed his relief, saying, "I feel great. Humbled once more. Home tomorrow!" This positive update reassured his fans and admirers, who flooded the comments section of his post with an outpouring of support and well wishes.
Among those who rallied around Sheppard were his fellow Supernatural cast members. Misha Collins, who played the character Castiel in the show, left a heartfelt and light-hearted comment, saying, "Mark! You don't need to do the most and biggest every time! Six heart attacks?
