**Three Individuals Arrested in Connection with Death of Liam Payne**

Three suspects have been arrested in relation to the tragic death of former One Direction singer Liam Payne, according to Argentina's National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor's Office. The suspects face serious charges including abandonment leading to death and the trafficking and facilitation of narcotics.

In a statement released on Thursday, officials detailed how Payne fell from his hotel balcony on October 16 while in a semi or fully unconscious state. For the first time, authorities have conclusively ruled out any self-harm or third-party involvement in Payne's fall. This conclusion was reached after an exhaustive review of more than 800 hours of security footage, which ultimately led to the arrests.

Among those arrested, one individual who had been with Payne frequently during his stay in Buenos Aires is charged with abandonment resulting in death. Another suspect, a hotel employee, is accused of supplying cocaine to Payne on two occasions during his stay at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel. The third suspect, described as a narcotics supplier, allegedly sold drugs to Payne twice on October 14.

Prosecutors have confirmed through toxicology tests that Payne had drugs in his system for at least three days before his death. These substances included alcohol, cocaine, and a prescription antidepressant. They assert that Payne was significantly impaired at the time of his fall.
