In an exciting development, Jeremy Strong, known for his role in "Succession," is reportedly in talks to join the cast of "Deliver Me From Nowhere," a 20th Century Studios movie centered around the legendary musician Bruce Springsteen and the making of his iconic album, "Nebraska." The film, directed by Scott Cooper and based on Warren Zane's book "Deliver Me From Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska," already features Jeremy Allen White in the lead role as Springsteen.

If negotiations are successful, Jeremy Strong is expected to portray Jon Landau, Springsteen's long-time manager, adding depth and authenticity to the narrative. "Deliver Me From Nowhere" aims to delve into Springsteen's artistic journey as he ventured into creating "Nebraska," an unexpected departure from his previous work. The album, conceived as a stripped-down solo project, was recorded on a four-track recorder, deviating from the anticipated grandeur of a rock record with the E Street Band. Zane's book brilliantly captures the story behind Springsteen's artistic transformation during the making of this record.

Both Springsteen and Landau are actively involved in the production of the movie, which is set to commence filming in the fall. Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios president, David Greenbaum, expressed his delight at collaborating with Springsteen and Cooper, emphasizing the deep authenticity of Springsteen's story. Greenbaum added that working with Cooper once again is an honor, given their successful partnership in the past.

With Jeremy Strong potentially joining the cast, "Deliver Me From Nowhere" holds promise as a compelling exploration of one of Springsteen's most pivotal albums. Fans of the musician, as well as cinema enthusiasts, are eagerly anticipating the film's release and the unique perspective it will bring to Springsteen's artistic journey.
