The film, directed by Scott Cooper and based on Warren Zane's book "Deliver Me From Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska," already features Jeremy Allen White in the lead role as Springsteen.

If negotiations are successful, Jeremy Strong is expected to portray Jon Landau, Springsteen's long-time manager, adding depth and authenticity to the narrative. "Deliver Me From Nowhere" aims to delve into Springsteen's artistic journey as he ventured into creating "Nebraska," an unexpected departure from his previous work.
