- ️Russia launches missile strike on Odesa Oblast. The missile was launched from a Russian military aircraft earlier on May 16, Odesa City Council reported citing the Southern Operational Command. The attack hit an object of tourist infrastructure, destroying some buildings.
- ️Russian forces shell residential area in Mykolaiv. Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych, a local store and a car were caught on fire, and a gas pipeline was damaged as a result of the attack on the morning of May 16. No casualties have been reported.

- PGPD is on the scene of a fatal shooting in the 3200 block of Reed Street. Prelim: At approx 7pm, officers responded to a shooting and discovered an adult male unresponsive on the ground in front of an apartment building. The man was pronounced dead on scene.
