Baldur's Gate 3 players have recently raised a request for a significant addition to the game's campsite experience. This arose after a fan pointed out a striking exclusion regarding the main protagonist's absence of a personal tent, unlike the rest of the party members.

During breaks from their adventurous journeys, players and their party members seek solace and recovery in their campsite. Each companion character is assigned their own dedicated space, complete with a personalized tent that reflects their unique taste and personality. However, the main character lacks this privilege.

In a humorous post on the Baldur's Gate 3 subreddit titled "THAT'S why Tav is always asking for a bag of holding," one fan amusingly theorized how each companion character manages to set up their lavish campsites, while the protagonist, known as Tav, is left struggling to carry all their belongings.

The post reads, "Because you're the only one without a tent. The only logical explanation is that everyone else has a bag of holding to carry all their stuff. But poor Tav is the only one who has to carry everything the regular way."

It is worth noting that the player character occasionally expresses a desire for a Bag of Holding when picking up random items. In the Dungeons & Dragons universe, a Bag of Holding is a renowned magical item that contains a pocket dimension within it, enabling storage of a vast amount of objects.

Numerous fans have voiced their desire for a personal camp space. One fan stated, "Okay but now I want a customizable campsite. Just a little plot in all the camps for us to put up a sh*tty tent or something. Throw down some knick-knacks."

Another fan highlighted the fact that even when playing as an Origin character like Shadowheart or Lae'zel, the player loses their own tent. "I wish in a companion Origin you keep your tent. Shadowheart shouldn't be homeless," they expressed.

Although Baldur's Gate 3 currently lacks a dedicated player housing feature, some resourceful fans have managed to decorate their campsite impressively. However, any placed items are removed if the player decorates the campsite and then leaves.

Given that Larian Studios has been actively updating Baldur's Gate 3 with new features, it is plausible that players will eventually have the opportunity to customize their own living space within the campsite. Perhaps, in the future, players will be able to enjoy the comfort of their own personalized tents in this thrilling RPG adventure.
