In a Major League Soccer matchup between Toronto FC and Charlotte FC at BMO Field, Charlotte emerged victorious with a 2-0 win.

The game started with both teams showing their determination, but it was Charlotte FC who broke the deadlock in the 56th minute. Pep Biel scored the opening goal for Charlotte with a precise right-footed shot from the center of the box, assisted by Liel Abada.

In the 90th minute, Patrick Agyemang sealed the victory for Charlotte FC with another goal, a right-footed shot from the center of the box following a fast break. Agyemang's goal sparked celebrations, but he was shown a yellow card for his excessive celebration.

Toronto FC's Deybi Flores and Jonathan Osorio were both shown yellow cards during the game for fouls. Despite making substitutions and attempts to find the back of the net, Toronto FC couldn't overcome Charlotte's strong defense and clinical finishing.

The match concluded with Charlotte FC claiming a 2-0 victory over Toronto FC. The result disappointed the home fans but showcased Charlotte's efficiency in front of goal.

The next game for Toronto FC will be against Los Angeles on June 14, 2025. Meanwhile, Charlotte FC will face Philadelphia Union on the same day in their upcoming MLS fixtures.
