VCU Defeats Saint Joseph's in Semifinals, Advances to Atlantic 10 Championship Game

In an exciting semifinal matchup of the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament, VCU emerged victorious with a 66-60 win against Saint Joseph's. Max Shulga led the charge for the Rams, scoring an impressive 25 points and contributing three steals to secure the victory.

Despite entering the tournament on a three-game losing streak, the fifth-seeded VCU managed to book their spot in the championship game. They will face either No. 6-seed Duquesne or No. 7 St. Bonaventure in the quest for the conference title on Sunday.

VCU started off slow, with Jackson scoring just six points in the first half. However, the Rams managed to narrow the gap as they entered halftime trailing 25-23. In the second half, Shulga turned up the heat, scoring 19 points to lead his team to a hard-fought six-point victory.
