A decision regarding the future of Red Bull Racing's team principal, Christian Horner, is expected to be made and communicated when Horner returns to Bahrain from the UK, potentially on either Tuesday or Wednesday. The opening practice sessions for the 2024 F1 season are scheduled to take place on Thursday, leading up to Saturday's race.

The saga surrounding Horner has been making headlines, with details emerging from reports in the Dutch media. While it is anticipated that the decision on Horner's future will be announced, it is unlikely to be presented with significant detail as matters of confidentiality are likely to limit the amount of information shared publicly.

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff expressed that the situation involving Horner is "an issue for all of Formula 1," while McLaren team principal Zak Brown called for a swift and transparent conclusion to the investigation. Brown shared his views on the current probe into inappropriate behavior at Red Bull involving Horner.

Christian Horner has been the longest-serving team principal in F1, leading Red Bull Racing since the team entered the sport in 2005. Under his leadership, the team has clinched six constructors' and seven drivers' titles.

Red Bull's star driver, Max Verstappen, seeking a fourth successive drivers' title, has stated that it would be favorable for everyone when the matter surrounding Horner is resolved. Verstappen is solely focusing on his own performance amidst the ongoing investigation.

At a recent press conference, Horner refrained from commenting on the investigation, suggesting that the handling of the probe is currently overseen by Red Bull GmbH, the governing entity in control of the situation. Stay tuned for updates as the Formula 1 community awaits further developments on this issue.
