The Golden State Warriors showcased their winning form once again on Friday, as they overcame a disrupted travel schedule to claim a convincing 120-105 victory against the Toronto Raptors on the second night of a back-to-back.

Despite battling fatigue due to a late night and limited sleep, the Warriors found their energy in the second half and managed to dominate a Raptors team that had suffered a setback with the loss of star player Scottie Barnes to a hand injury in the second quarter.

One significant rotation shift from head coach Steve Kerr caught the attention of fans during the game. The Warriors, since Draymond Green's permanent move to the starting lineup, had established a consistent rotation for the center minutes. Kevon Looney usually took over for Green in the first and third periods, while Dario Saric and Trayce Jackson-Davis typically played together to start the second and fourth quarters.

However, in Friday's game, Kerr opted to prioritize the rookie big man, Jackson-Davis. He became the first big off the bench in the second half, while Looney took the early minutes to start the fourth quarter. Jackson-Davis then returned to the court to play alongside Green for a crucial stretch towards the end of the game.

This rotation adjustment meant that Saric did not see any playing time in the second half, a decision that had been in the making due to his recent dip in form. The Croatian veteran struggled with just two points, two assists, a turnover, and a -2 plus/minus rating in less than six minutes of playing time in the first half.

Saric's defensive limitations had become a concern for fans, and the Warriors' defensive capacity noticeably improved with Jackson-Davis receiving extended minutes in the second half. The 24-year-old seized the opportunity, contributing nine points and three rebounds in just over 10 minutes of play. Jackson-Davis proved to be an asset with a +10 plus/minus rating, helping Golden State limit Toronto to just 41 points in the second half, compared to the 64 they managed in the first.

Kerr's decision to eliminate Saric from the rotation in the second half may signal a future change in the team's approach. Utilizing all three players – Jackson-Davis, Looney, and Saric – for limited minutes has proven to be unsustainable. Additionally, the impressive performance of Moses Moody since returning to the rotation further emphasizes the importance of the decision. Once Andrew Wiggins returns, Moody's minutes may come at the expense of Saric, potentially pushing the veteran out of the rotation mix.

The Golden State Warriors continue to assert their dominance, displaying their ability to adapt and make necessary changes to maximize their performance. With this victory against the Raptors, they have further solidified their position as one of the top teams in the league.
