Sporting Kansas City showcased their dominance with a decisive 3-0 victory against the San Jose Earthquakes on August 27, 2023, at the Children's Mercy Park. An impressive crowd of 18,892 spectators witnessed the exciting match.
The first half of the game saw Sporting KC taking a firm grip on the match proceedings. Dániel Sallói fired into the bottom left corner in the 3rd minute, marking the first goal of the match.
