Seattle, WA - Force 10 Hoops, the owners of the Seattle Storm, have proudly announced that basketball icon Sue Bird has joined their ownership group. Bird, whose remarkable playing career spanned over 20 seasons with the Storm, brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Throughout her career, Bird achieved numerous accolades, including four WNBA championships, 13 All-Star Game appearances, eight All-WNBA teams, and five Olympic gold medals. Her dedication and contributions to the Storm organization make her a valuable addition to the ownership group, according to co-owner Lisa Brummel.

She retired as the all-time leader in assists, boasting an impressive career total of 3,234.

The Seattle Storm, one of the most successful franchises in the WNBA, has won four championships and made 18 playoff appearances in its 24 seasons. The ownership group, in line with their commitment to the growth of women's basketball, recently unveiled the Seattle Storm Center for Basketball Performance, a state-of-the-art $64 million practice facility.
