### Jurors Deliberate Over Weekend in Weinstein's Retrial Amid Rare Interview

Juror deliberations in Harvey Weinstein's retrial for sex crimes did not conclude on Friday, signaling another round of discussions set for Monday. This development followed Weinstein's rare interview broadcasted on Friday, where the 73-year-old former movie mogul expressed reflections and regrets on the situation that has deeply affected his personal and professional life.

"I regret putting my family, my wife, and friends through this ordeal," Weinstein shared with FOX 5's Rosanna Scotto. "I acted immorally and hurt those close to me, but my actions were never criminal or illegal." Facing charges of two counts of criminal sex acts and one count of rape, Weinstein hinted at potential financial motivations behind the testimonies against him, suggesting there were "4 million reasons," or dollars, for his accusers to testify.

Friday's court proceedings also saw tension within the jury. One juror requested to be released from duty, claiming "unfair and unjust" treatment of another juror by their peers. However, Judge Curtis Farber denied the request and rejected Weinstein's legal team's call for a mistrial. Farber noted that the friction was simply "normal tensions during heated deliberations" and posited that the juror's discomfort might stem from his youth and unease with conflict.

As deliberations continue, the public remains focused on the outcome of this retrial, adding another layer to the long and complex saga of Harvey Weinstein's legal battles.
