**Terence Crawford Critiques Mike Tyson's Performance in Bout Against Jake Paul**

In a candid critique, Terence Crawford didn't shy away from sharing his thoughts on Mike Tyson's recent performance against Jake Paul. The WBA super welterweight champion, recognized as one of world boxing's finest, openly disapproved of Tyson's showing during their match at AT&T Stadium.

The fight was highly anticipated, with the 27-year-old Paul, a YouTuber who transitioned into boxing, facing off against the legendary 58-year-old Tyson. Tyson lost via unanimous decision in what turned out to be an underwhelming bout streamed on Netflix. Crawford took to X to express his discontent, saying, "I love Mike Tyson, but they giving him too much credit. He looked like trash, to train that long and only throw 97 punches the whole fight is crazy. I'm just glad he didn't get hurt out there."

Crawford's remarks resonated with many viewers who had similar sentiments. There had been widespread curiosity about how Tyson would fare in the ring after not competing in a professionally sanctioned match for 19 years. However, Tyson's performance highlighted his age as he threw 97 punches, landing only 18, while Paul threw 278 punches and connected 78 times. Acknowledging Tyson's lack of threat, Paul admitted post-fight that he eased up and did not pursue a knockout.

The fans' displeasure was evident with boos erupting due to the lack of action throughout the fight. Despite the lackluster performance, the bout was a commercial triumph. Netflix announced that 60 million users had tuned in, and the event generated over $17.8 million from ticket sales, marking the largest boxing gate outside of Las Vegas in U.S. history with 72,300 attendees packing the stadium.

Amid the discussion, Crawford hinted at his potential to surpass this record. Boasting an undefeated 41-0 record, he shared his aspirations on X, writing, "I think I can do 90,000 at Memorial Stadium. I think ima go on and make history just to make some of y'all mad because yall be hating."
