**Multiple Bomb and Swatting Threats Target Trump's Incoming Cabinet Picks and Appointees**

President-elect Donald Trump's transition team revealed Wednesday that numerous Cabinet nominees and key administration appointees were subjected to a series of violent threats. These incidents, which occurred Tuesday night and continued into Wednesday morning, ranged from bomb threats to "swatting" attempts.

Karoline Leavitt, who is set to serve as Trump's press secretary, highlighted the severity of these threats in a statement, mentioning the quick response of law enforcement and other authorities to ensure the safety of the targeted individuals. "President Trump and the entire transition team are grateful for their swift action," Leavitt stated.

The FBI also acknowledged the threats in their own statement, confirming that they are investigating the incidents in collaboration with various law enforcement agencies. "We take all potential threats seriously, and as always, encourage members of the public to immediately report anything they consider suspicious," the FBI emphasized.

President Joe Biden, along with his administration, has condemned the threats unequivocally. A spokesperson informed CNN that Biden was briefed on the situation and that the White House is in regular contact with federal law enforcement and Trump's transition team, closely monitoring developments.

Among the targeted individuals was New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, Trump's choice for the UN Ambassador role. Stefanik’s office disclosed that while she was traveling home with her family for Thanksgiving, they were informed of a bomb threat against her residence. Local law enforcement, along with the U.S. Capitol Police, responded immediately.

In another incident, Lee Zeldin, nominated to lead the Environmental Protection Agency, reported via X that a pipe bomb threat was made against his house. The threat included a pro-Palestinian message, though fortunately, Zeldin and his family were not at home at the time.

Additionally, Brooke Rollins, Trump's pick for Agriculture Secretary, confirmed a threat issued against her home and family. She assured the public that her family remained unharmed.

The U.S. Capitol Police reiterated their commitment to working closely with local and federal law enforcement whenever a member of Congress is targeted by a swatting incident. They, however, refrained from providing further details to avoid jeopardizing ongoing investigations and to minimize the risk of similar future threats.

CNN reached out to the U.S. Secret Service and the Department of Homeland Security for comments, but further details were not provided by the transition team spokesperson.
