**Vancouver Police Seek Public's Assistance in Identifying Witnesses from Mall Shooting**
Vancouver police, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, are appealing to the public for help in identifying two women present at the Vancouver Mall on Thursday evening. These women were in the vicinity during a shooting incident that resulted in one fatality and injuries to two others. According to a news release, while detectives are keen to speak with the women, they do not believe they were involved in the incident.
The shooting took place at 7:30 p.m. on October 31 in the mall's food court area. The timing was particularly distressing, as a family-friendly Halloween event was occurring, causing hundreds of parents and children to scramble for safety amidst the chaos. Vancouver police confirmed on Saturday that the shooter is still at large.
Crime Stoppers of Oregon has offered a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to an arrest in any unsolved felony case. They encourage anyone who can identify the women in question to provide an anonymous tip through their official website.
Furthermore, Vancouver police urge anyone who possesses information about the shooting but has not yet communicated with the authorities to reach out to the Vancouver Police Department tip line.
