Penn Hills, Pennsylvania - A tragic incident unfolded early Sunday morning at the Ballers Hookah Lounge and Cigar Bar in Penn Hills, as a shooting left two people dead and seven others injured, according to officials.

The Allegheny County Police Department's homicide unit was called in to assist the Penn Hills Police Department after the shooting occurred. At approximately 3 a.m., first responders discovered the bodies of an adult male and adult female inside the bar.

In addition to the fatalities, seven more victims were found at the scene. Some were transported to nearby hospitals, while others arrived individually seeking medical attention. A statement released by the Allegheny County police on social media confirmed that one of the victims is in critical condition. Thankfully, the remaining victims sustained injuries that are not life-threatening.

Preliminary information suggests that an altercation took place inside the bar, which quickly escalated as multiple individuals began firing shots. However, the statement did not provide any details regarding whether or not suspects have been apprehended in connection with the incident.
