**Donald Trump Skips Penn State-Ohio State Game for Virginia Rally**

Donald Trump has altered his weekend plans and will no longer be attending the highly anticipated Penn State vs. Ohio State football game this Saturday, confirmed a university spokesperson to Onward State. Initial reports suggested that Trump had been invited by a private citizen to watch the game.

However, Trump's campaign schedule indicates he will now be in Salem, Virginia, on Saturday for a rally scheduled at 4 p.m. This change comes despite a recent appearance by Trump at Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center, a focal point of extensive campaigning by both major parties in State College.

Other political figures have also made recent visits to the area. Former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy held an event at the Sparks Building on October 17, while Democratic congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spoke at the State Theatre on October 18. Additionally, a "Team Trump Bus Tour" made its way to State College on October 22, and Democratic governors campaigned for Kamala Harris on October 21.

Meanwhile, Republican U.S. Senate candidate David McCormick plans to be present in Happy Valley, where he is set to host a tailgate event during the Ohio State game.
