### Trump Pushes False Claims on Joe Rogan's Podcast, Attacks Opponents
Former President Donald Trump leveraged his recent appearance on "The Joe Rogan Experience" to amplify his unfounded assertions about the 2020 election results, critique Vice President Kamala Harris, and disparage his former White House staff. The episode, which debuted Friday night, likely captivated one of the nation's largest podcast audiences, thanks to Rogan's 15.7 million Spotify followers. This appearance subsequently delayed a planned rally in Michigan by three hours.
With just over a week remaining until the November election, Trump once again cast doubt on the legitimacy of the 2020 election, criticized secure voting practices such as mail-in voting and voting machines, and reiterated his false claim of victory. "You had old-fashioned ballot screwing," Trump alleged, baselessly accusing unsigned ballots and "phony votes" of altering the outcome.
During the podcast, Rogan drew parallels between the label of "election denialist" and being labeled an "anti-vaxxer," prompting Trump to further condemn mail-in voting while paradoxically urging his supporters to vote in any manner they prefer. When pressed by Rogan about why he didn’t release substantial evidence of voter fraud in 2020, Trump became combative and falsely asserted that he had, blaming his loss on judges who "didn't have what it took."
Trump also reacted to Democrats, including Harris, calling him a fascist. "Kamala is a very low IQ person. She's a very low IQ," he remarked succinctly. Addressing allegations from former Chief of Staff John Kelly about his alleged praise for Nazi generals, Trump expressed admiration for Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee, citing his tactical prowess in prolonging the Civil War.
Rogan gave Trump ample latitude to discuss a wide array of topics, from the environment to the economy and healthcare, resulting in a conversation rather than a structured interview. At one point, Rogan had to steer the dialogue back on course, saying, "Your weave is getting wide. I wanna get back to tariffs," a style Trump previously dubbed "the weave."
Throughout the podcast, Trump contrasted his cognitive abilities with those of President Joe Biden, dismissing concerns about his own age. "Biden gives people a bad name because that's not an old - that's not an age. I think they say it because I'm three or four years younger, you know? I think that's why they say it. They say his age. It's not his age. He's got a problem," he stated.
The duo also touched on conspiracy theories, with Rogan suggesting Democrats tried to expedite the first presidential debate to remove Biden from the race. Trump acknowledged the theory but disagreed with its premise, saying, "I don't think anybody thought he was going to get out," referring to Biden.
Concluding the podcast, Rogan posed an out-of-this-world question about extraterrestrial life, to which Trump speculated on the existence of life on Mars. Rogan, however, expressed skepticism, referencing scientific missions that found no evidence of life. "Maybe it's life that we don't know about," Trump countered.
