**Trump Urges Netanyahu to End Gaza Conflict Amid Rising Tensions**

President Trump has expressed deep frustration over the escalating conflict in Gaza, particularly moved by the suffering of Palestinian children, and has instructed his aides to urge Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to seek a resolution, according to two White House officials.

Despite assurances from U.S. and Israeli representatives that the bond between the two nations remains firm, there are emerging policy disagreements. Trump is keen on ending the war, while Netanyahu appears to be intensifying military operations.

Following Trump's recent visit to the region, the U.S. has been vigorously promoting a new proposal by White House envoy Steve Witkoff that aims at securing a ceasefire and ensuring the release of hostages.

An Israeli official, however, indicated that Netanyahu does not currently sense significant pressure from Trump. "If the President wants a hostage and ceasefire deal in Gaza, he needs to apply more forceful pressure on both parties," the official stated.

Adding to the complexity, the British government has suspended free trade negotiations with Israel, imposed sanctions on Israeli settlers linked to West Bank violence, and summoned the Israeli ambassador.

Trump has exerted pressure on Netanyahu regarding Israel's complete halt on humanitarian aid to Gaza. A senior White House official noted that, while Trump views his Middle East trip as successful, he believes the ongoing conflict in Gaza hinders his broader regional plans.

Notwithstanding the pressure, Trump's support for Israel remains unwavering. Trump's hostage response envoy, Adam Boehler, reiterated on Fox News that any suggestion of the administration abandoning Israel is unfounded.

White House envoy Steve Witkoff has reiterated the updated proposal to both Israel and Hamas, pushing for its acceptance to avoid a large-scale Israeli operation in Gaza, to free more hostages, and deliver crucial aid to prevent a humanitarian disaster.
