### Turmoil at Trump Media: High-Level Departures Amid Allegations of Mismanagement

In a turbulent period for Trump Media & Technology Group, at least four high-ranking employees have departed the company, according to a recent report by ProPublica. The company, which owns the social media platform Truth Social, has seen significant turnover including the exits of Chief Operating Officer Andrew Northwall and Chief Product Officer Sandro De Moraes. These departures are linked to complaints about the company’s CEO, Devin Nunes, a former congressman from California.

Northwall's resignation was officially recorded on September 28 in a mandatory SEC filing released late Thursday. On the same platform, he expressed his gratitude toward Donald Trump and Devin Nunes for the opportunity to serve at TMTG, calling it one of the most rewarding experiences of his career. While De Moraes chose not to make a public statement, his updated bio now lists him as the "Former Chief Product Officer @truthsocial."

The wave of departures comes in the wake of a whistleblower complaint filed with Trump Media’s board of directors. According to ProPublica, the complaint involves alleged mismanagement by Nunes, including the misuse of funds, the hiring of foreign contractors, and interference with product development. Following this complaint, the board reportedly retained a lawyer to investigate, which led to interviews with employees and ultimately, some being pushed out of the company.

Other employees who have reportedly left include the human relations director and a product designer. ProPublica suggested that those interviewed during the investigation were asked to sign agreements preventing them from making public claims of wrongdoing against the company in exchange for severance. However, it remains uncertain if any of the employees accepted these terms.

A former employee, Alex Gleason, recently tweeted that Truth Social is "in shambles," adding that many more people have been fired. This indicates that the company might be undergoing even more internal strife than currently known.

Despite the departures, a representative for Trump Media has firmly denied ProPublica’s allegations, accusing the news outlet of a politically motivated campaign against the company. According to their statement, ProPublica’s reporting is based on false and defamatory allegations, lacking any reliable sourcing or substantiating details.

Adding another layer to the controversy, ProPublica reported that Devin Nunes recently traveled to North Macedonia with a cohort of business executives, including Chris Pavlovski, CEO of the far-right video platform Rumble. The purpose of this trip remains unclear, as indicated by a cryptic comment from North Macedonia's conservative Prime Minister, Hristijan Mickoski.

As the situation continues to unfold, Trump Media has yet to provide further comments on the recent high-profile departures.
