**Trump Gains Favor in Key Swing States, Polls Show**

Recent polling in critical swing states suggests a favorable outlook for Donald Trump in the presidential race. The survey conducted by Ipsos polled 1,598 likely voters across Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin - states that together hold 88 electoral votes and are seen as pivotal in the election.

The results show that Trump is rated higher than his Democratic opponent Kamala Harris in several key areas. In particular, 35% of respondents view Harris as part of the political establishment, in contrast to 16% who think the same about Trump. Additionally, 47% of surveyed voters credit Trump with having more experience, compared to just 21% who believe Harris holds that advantage, despite her nearly four years in office.

On pressing issues such as immigration, Trump maintains a substantial lead, with 48% of battleground voters trusting him over Harris (33%) to manage the situation. Given that one-third of voters rank immigration among their top three issues, this represents a significant metric in Trump's favor.

The former president also holds an edge when it comes to war and terrorism, with 42% preferring his approach over Harris's 32%. Economic issues further bolster Trump's position, with 43% of respondents favoring his handling of the economy compared to 37% for Harris. Specifically, inflation has emerged as a top concern, with 33% of all respondents (and 46% of Republican voters) identifying it as the most important issue in this election.

Even on the theme of crime and corruption, which Harris has emphasized in her campaign, Trump is marginally more trusted, with a 38% to 37% advantage.

In a critical observation, those voters who have not yet committed to a candidate seem to be leaning towards Trump. When undetermined voters were pressed to make a choice, 50% expressed a preference for Trump's return to office, while only 33% opted for Harris.

This polling data underscores significant challenges for Harris as she seeks to capture pivotal swing states in the upcoming election.
