**Trump Escalates Attacks on Vice President Harris, Prompting Bipartisan Condemnation**

In a Pennsylvania rally on Sunday, former President Donald Trump intensified his offensive against Vice President Kamala Harris, once again falsely labeling her and President Joe Biden as "mentally disabled." Trump accused Biden of becoming "mentally impaired" and criticized Harris by suggesting she was "born that way," while asserting that "there's something wrong with Kamala."

Trump’s rhetoric, which he also employed during a speech on Saturday in Wisconsin, has frequently involved derogatory remarks about Harris, calling her "stupid," "weak," and "dumb as a rock." He has even gone so far as to falsely question her racial identity, claiming she "turned Black."

The former president's heightened attacks come as political analysts speculate he is increasingly concerned about poll numbers that show Harris leading in both national and key battleground state surveys. Among those condemning Trump's rhetoric is former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, an anti-Trump Republican currently vying for a Senate seat. Hogan labeled the remarks as "outrageous and unacceptable" and emphasized that they insult not just the Vice President but also individuals with actual mental disabilities.

While Trump's staunchest supporters, such as Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, have echoed familiar criticisms of Harris as being "crazy liberal," they have also suggested focusing on other political issues. "The better course to take is to prosecute the case that her policies are destroying the country," Graham stated. Similarly, Representative Tom Emmer of Minnesota argued that attention should be directed towards substantive matters like the southern border and the economy, contending that "Donald Trump fixed it once. They broke it. He's going to fix it again."

Trump himself has acknowledged the darker tone of his recent speeches, which have included harsh commentary on migrants and exaggerated claims about crimes purportedly committed by undocumented individuals. "This is a dark speech," he told supporters on Saturday while delivering similar denunciations of Harris and undocumented immigrants in Wisconsin.

Responding to Trump's comments, Harris spokesperson Sarafina Chitika remarked that Trump "is finally telling the truth to voters: He's got nothing 'inspiring' to offer the American people, just darkness."
