According to Round Rock Police Chief Allen Banks, the shooting transpired following an altercation that erupted between two groups during a concert at the event. Suddenly, someone indiscriminately started firing shots, causing chaos and panic among the attendees. Chief Allen Banks expressed during a news conference at the scene that the two victims who tragically lost their lives were not involved in the initial argument.

Reports indicated that the incident took place near a vendor area, away from the main stage where the concert was being held. Swift action was taken by police officers and fire department personnel who were present at the event. They immediately provided emergency medical care to the wounded before transporting them to nearby hospitals.

A post on X by Austin-Travis County EMS revealed that six individuals, including four adults and two children, were taken to local trauma facilities with potentially serious injuries. The exact condition of the victims has yet to be disclosed.
