### Harris and Trump Locked in Tight Race as Election Day Nears

As the presidential election draws nearer, polling shows a remarkably close contest between Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump. Early voting has commenced, and the final push to win over voters is in full swing.

On Friday morning, several new polls revealed the state of the race. A survey by Tipp indicated a slight lead for Harris, while an Emerson College Polling survey also favored the vice president. However, a poll conducted by the New York Times and Siena College found the candidates tied in the popular vote, each securing 48%.

The final New York Times/Siena College poll sampled 2,516 likely voters across the nation from October 20 to October 23, and it reported a margin of error of plus or minus 2.2 percentage points. This latest poll reflects a tightening race compared to early October, where Harris had a three-point advantage over Trump, though the shift remains within the margin of error.

Emerson College Polling's recent survey from New Hampshire, released on Friday, shows Harris with a three-point lead over Trump. In this poll of 915 likely voters, conducted from Monday to Wednesday, Harris captured 50% of the vote compared to Trump's 47%. Adding undecided voters into the mix increases Harris’s support to 51%. The poll’s margin of error is 3.2 percentage points.

In New Hampshire, the economy was identified as the top issue by 34% of respondents, followed by housing affordability at 26% and threats to democracy at 10%. Harris's support in New Hampshire is slightly below that of President Joe Biden in 2020 when he won the state with 52.8% of the vote.

Harris holds a favorable rating among 53% of New Hampshire voters, whereas Trump has 47% favorability in the state. Conversely, Trump's unfavorable rating is at 53%, and Harris's is at 47%.

In Tipp's Tracking Poll, Harris maintains a narrow lead of 50% to Trump's 47%, based on a survey of 1,260 likely voters conducted from October 21 to October 23. The margin of error here is 2.8%, showing little movement over the past ten days.

A Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll also suggests a highly competitive race in the seven swing states, with Harris edging out Trump 49.1% to 48.5%. This poll surveyed 5,308 registered voters from October 16 to October 20 and has a one percentage point margin of error.

A USA TODAY/Suffolk University national poll illustrates a marked gender gap. Women overwhelmingly support Harris, giving her 53% to Trump's 36%. Conversely, men favor Trump 53% to Harris's 37%. This disparity could signal the largest gender gap in over 40 years if these margins hold until Election Day.

As the final votes are cast and the results begin to pour in, both campaigns are focusing on swaying every possible voter in these final critical days.
