In a surprising turn of events, American singer Taylor Swift opted to attend an NFL match instead of appearing at Kamala Harris's closing rally in Pennsylvania. Harris, who was contesting against Donald Trump for the US presidency, had anticipated Swift's support at her crucial final campaign event. However, the pop icon's seat remained vacant as she chose to watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, play for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Initially, Swift had publicly endorsed Harris and her campaign in September, which led to significant buzz around her potential appearance at the rally. Speculations were rife that her attendance would boost Harris's campaign. But a day before the event, it was disclosed that Swift was not listed as a guest, and her priorities became clear when she showed up at the Arrowhead Stadium wearing a Chiefs jacket.
