An unidentified suspect is on the run after allegedly striking and killing a woman in a hit-and-run collision that occurred on Friday night in North Hollywood, as confirmed by authorities. The incident took place at approximately 7 p.m. at the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Beck Avenue.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the suspect, who was driving a Toyota Corolla in the westbound direction on Victory, hit a woman who was crossing the street within a marked crosswalk. The victim, described only as a Hispanic woman in her late 20s, was immediately transported to a local hospital. Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries and passed away at the medical facility.
