In the highly anticipated game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, players are expressing their frustration with the arduous grind required to progress through the battle pass. Many feel that the game's developers, Rocksteady, have failed to learn from the mistakes of previous live service games.

Initially, Suicide Squad's battle pass was met with praise for its non-expiry feature, similar to Halo Infinite. However, the true nature of the grind needed to reach just 75 levels in the battle pass has left players baffled and discontented.

At a staggering 1,000 battle pass XP per rank, players are faced with numerous separate ranks to conquer. This includes the season rank, which unlocks the beloved character Joker, as well as the mastery rank, which enhances the difficulty of incursions. Additionally, leveling up character XP provides bonus stats in the endgame.

The main issue lies in the limited opportunities to earn battle pass XP, with existing methods being met with disbelief. Completing any mission in the game, whether incursions or side missions, grants a mere 50 battle pass XP. Should players solely rely on missions, it would take a mind-boggling 1,500 missions to accumulate 7,500 XP. Factoring in loading and travel times, this equates to approximately 200 hours of gameplay.

Alternatively, players can rely on three daily bounties, each awarding 350 battle pass XP. However, to reach the desired level, players must log in consistently for 71 days. Shooting drones around the map grants 500 XP daily, but the poor spawn rates, system glitches, and time-consuming nature of the process makes it an inefficient option, requiring at least 20-30 minutes of gameplay.

The most efficient method discovered so far involves hunting down rare alien enemies that spew materials, granting 50 XP each. Although effective, this method quickly becomes monotonous and mind-numbing.

Players are now expressing their disappointment and calling for urgent changes to be made by Rocksteady. Despite the battle pass being non-expiring, the exorbitant time demands imposed on players have left a sour taste in their mouths. While Joker is obtainable through grinding, the battle pass itself requires a financial investment.

With the increasing dissatisfaction and potential loss of players, it is crucial for Rocksteady to address the issue promptly. As the pressure mounts, players hope for a more enjoyable and balanced progression system that supports a fair and engaging gameplay experience.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League stands at a critical crossroad, where the future of the game may depend on the swift action taken by its developers to rectify the battle pass grind.
