### Steve Bannon Released from Federal Prison, Vows to Fight Harder

Steve Bannon, previously a Trump strategist and now a celebrated right-wing podcaster, was released from federal prison today after serving a four-month sentence. Bannon's imprisonment followed his refusal to comply with a subpoena issued by the January 6th Committee, which resulted in his conviction on two counts of contempt of Congress in 2022.

Bannon, who had been housed in a federal correctional facility in Danbury, Connecticut since July, spoke to The New York Times shortly after his release. He then resumed his War Room podcast, declaring, "The four months in federal prison didn't break me, it empowered me. I am more focused and more energized than I have ever been in my entire life."

Criticizing Nancy Pelosi and describing himself as a "political prisoner," Bannon claimed his prosecution was politically motivated. The House had referred a contempt of Congress recommendation to the Justice Department following his non-compliance with the subpoena. Bannon's subsequent prosecution led to his conviction and prison sentence imposed in 2022.

A vocal advocate of former President Trump's discredited assertion that the 2020 election was fraudulent, Bannon urged his listeners to overwhelm Democrats at the polls in the upcoming election. "We have to put this beyond their ability to steal it," he told his audience, further warning that legal challenges from the Democrats post-November 5th would be intense. "Every day after the evening of November 5th is going to be Stalingrad," he cautioned, suggesting a relentless struggle ahead.

Bannon remains steadfast in his commitment to Trump and the political battles he believes are crucial. His defiant rhetoric and call to action signal that his influence on the right-wing media landscape is unlikely to diminish following his release.
