O'Leary described Burgum as an exceptional choice, citing his impressive track record and execution skills.

Recalling his longstanding interest in North Dakota, O'Leary revealed that he first met Governor Burgum after a "Shark Tank" deal brought him to Fargo several years ago. The governor's persuasive abilities and achievements convinced O'Leary to start investing in North Dakota. He highlighted Burgum's remarkable accomplishment of making North Dakota home to some of the wealthiest citizens in the country.

O'Leary firmly believes that Burgum possesses a unique skill set that is vital to implementing Trump's agenda. He described the North Dakota governor as a "get-it-done guy" with unparalleled leadership capabilities. According to O'Leary, no other candidate demonstrates the same proven ability to deliver results.

Former President Trump has yet to disclose his choice for his prospective running mate in the 2024 Republican presidential ticket. During a recent interview at the Republican National Committee headquarters in Washington, D.C., Trump hinted that he has a strong contender in mind but stated that the official announcement might be delayed until the RNC convention in August.

While Burgum is only one of several names reportedly under consideration, O'Leary unequivocally supports him as the ideal candidate. The investor emphasized Burgum's pro-business, pro-growth, and pro-innovation stance, as well as his nonpartisan approach to building a robust American economy. O'Leary firmly believes that Burgum's ability to collaborate with both sides of the political spectrum is crucial for accomplishing meaningful outcomes.

The Trump campaign has formally requested documents for the vice presidential vetting process from other potential candidates, including Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio and Senator Marco Rubio of Florida. Additional candidates mentioned as possibilities include Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas, Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, Representatives Byron Donalds of Florida and Elise Stefanik of New York, as well as former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson.

O'Leary's endorsement of Burgum has added weight to the governor's chances of securing the spot as Trump's running mate. As Trump works to unite the Republican Party and finalize his decision, speculation continues to grow surrounding the potential vice presidential contenders.
