### Fetterman Raises Alarm Over Elon Musk's Involvement in 2024 Election

Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman has issued a stark warning about the growing influence of Elon Musk, the world's richest man and a fervent Donald Trump supporter, on the political landscape. Fetterman believes Musk's active participation in Trump's campaign could pose significant challenges for Democrats both in Pennsylvania and across the nation.

"Musk is a concern," Fetterman expressed to The Post. "It's not just about his endorsement of Trump, but his direct involvement in campaign activities and rallies. While some might view him as a modern-day Tony Stark, I caution Democrats against underestimating his influence."

Musk, who once had reservations about Trump, has since become a fervent supporter. Following a near-assassination attempt on Trump during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, in July, Musk has thrown his support wholeheartedly behind the former president. He appeared alongside Trump during a recent rally in Butler and participated in a two-hour campaign call with him in August. Further solidifying his support, Musk has donated at least $75 million to a pro-Trump SuperPAC, making him one of the largest individual donors in the 2024 presidential race.

Fetterman, who has gained a reputation as a forthright and sincere politician, remains focused on the stakes in Pennsylvania for the upcoming election. He warns that Pennsylvania will be a crucial battleground. "Trump has an undeniable connection with many Pennsylvanians, and that devotion can't be ignored. This is why the race will be incredibly close," remarked Fetterman. "Pennsylvania picks the president."

Despite his apprehensions, Fetterman was among the few Democrats urging President Joe Biden to remain in the race. He still believes Biden would have had a competitive edge. "Biden is the only one who has beaten Trump before," he stated. Recalling the pressure on Biden before his decision to step down, Fetterman said, "It was a turbulent time, with internal party pressures, right-wing media attacks, and public opinion swayed by celebrities and major outlets like the New York Times."

Currently, Fetterman has shifted his support to Vice President Kamala Harris, actively campaigning for her in the more conservative areas of Pennsylvania. "Harris has run an exemplary campaign," he concluded.
