**Search Intensifies at Southeast Bexar County Landfill for Missing Mother**
SAN ANTONIO - Authorities have mobilized at a landfill in southeast Bexar County as the search for Suzanne Clark Simpson continues. Simpson, a realtor and mother of four from Olmos Park, has been missing since Sunday, October 6.
Brad Simpson, Suzanne’s husband, was arrested early Wednesday, October 9, facing charges of assault causing bodily injury-family violence and unlawful restraint. Initially detained in the Kendall County Jail, he was later transferred to the Bexar County Jail with a bond set at $2 million.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) confirmed that the landfill is one of several locations under investigation connected to Suzanne’s disappearance. Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation, the exact location of the search has not been disclosed.
Investigators have been thorough in their efforts, examining the couple’s residence in Olmos Park and the surrounding areas on Wednesday. However, they have not revealed whether any significant evidence was uncovered.
On Friday, multiple agencies continued their search efforts along Interstate 10 in Boerne, including the 33000 block near Highway 87, which is approximately one mile from where Brad Simpson was arrested. Authorities have not commented on the findings from this location.
The search involves several agencies, including Bexar County Emergency Management, DPS, and Olmos Park Police, all collaborating in an effort to find Suzanne Clark Simpson.
