**Diddy and Kim Porter's Children Refute Rumors and Memoir Surrounding Their Late Mother**

The children of Sean "Diddy" Combs and the late Kim Porter have come forward to provide clarity on the false rumors and an allegedly fake memoir that has surfaced about their mother. Kim Porter, who passed away in Southern California in 2018, has been a subject of various speculations amidst other controversies involving Combs.

Recently, Sean "Diddy" Combs has been embroiled in serious legal issues, including charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He's also facing multiple lawsuits that accuse him of rape or sexual assault, as reported by USA TODAY. Kim Porter and Combs share three children: Christian "King" Combs, and twins Jessie and D'Lila Combs. Combs also adopted Porter’s son, Quincy Brown.

In light of misinformation circulating about their mother, the children released a collective statement on Instagram to set the record straight. "We are deeply saddened that the world has made a spectacle of what has been the most tragic event of our lives," they expressed. "Our mother should be remembered for the beautiful, strong, kind, and loving woman she was. Her memory should not be tainted by horrific conspiracy theories."

A memoir, purportedly penned by Porter and detailing her relationship with Combs, was released on Amazon earlier this month. According to People, the book alleges instances of physical abuse. However, Combs' attorney has labeled the book as "fake." Reportedly, the memoir is based on writings sent to producer Chris Todd, although the Daily Mail noted that Todd has not provided any evidence to verify the book's authenticity.

Addressing the authenticity of the purported memoir, the children stated, "Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves. Additionally, please understand that any so-called 'friend' speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend, nor do they have her best interests at heart."

Kim Porter was found unresponsive in her San Fernando Valley home in Toluca in 2018. The County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner determined in 2019 that she had died from lobar pneumonia, which affects one or more sections of the lungs, according to Johns Hopkins Medicine.

The Combs children wish for their mother to be remembered for who she truly was—a loving, strong, and kind woman—and not be overshadowed by baseless conspiracies and false claims.
