In an exciting development, the team announced on Tuesday that they have activated a pair of rookies from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. This marks a significant milestone for the team as they progress towards the upcoming season.

Among the rookies who have been cleared for action are D.J. Wonnum and Amaré Barno. Both players have successfully recovered from their respective injuries and are now available to participate in team activities. Their return provides a much-needed boost to the team's depth and talent.

However, despite this positive development, there are still four players remaining on the active/PUP list. Cam Sims and Yosh Nijman will continue their rehabilitation before they are ready to join their teammates on the field. While it may take some more time for them to fully recover, their progress is being closely monitored by the team's medical staff.

Additionally, running back Jonathon Brooks finds himself on the active/non-football injury (NFI) list. The team is supporting Brooks as he works through his injury and aims to get back to full strength. Although he is currently unavailable for team activities, the coaching staff and medical personnel are hopeful for his return in the near future.

It is worth noting that players on both the active/PUP and active/NFI lists can be activated at any time. As the team prepares for the start of the season, they will continue to evaluate the progress of those players still on the list, with the ultimate goal of having a full and healthy roster.

As training camp progresses, fans eagerly anticipate the return of these players, as they look forward to witnessing their impact on the field. The rookies' activation serves as a reminder that the upcoming season is just around the corner, filled with both anticipation and excitement for the team and its supporters.

In the coming weeks, further updates will be provided on the progress of the players on the active/PUP and active/NFI lists. As the team inches closer to its season opener, the focus remains on getting all players back in action and building a competitive, well-rounded roster for the challenges that lie ahead.
