**Abby Lee Miller Files $1.4 Million Lawsuit Against Cedars-Sinai Medical Center**
Abby Lee Miller, known for her time on the reality show Dance Moms, finds herself entangled in more legal trouble. This time, Miller is suing Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, claiming medical malpractice. The reality TV star alleges that during a 2020 surgery for a spinal cord injury, doctors Hooman Melamed and Paul Dwan neglected to remove a catheter, which was only discovered nearly four years later.
Miller, 59, asserts that the presence of the forgotten catheter caused her to endure years of chronic pain, necessitating an emergency procedure to remove the device. The lawsuit seeks a minimum of $1.4 million in damages, citing medical malpractice, professional negligence, and medical battery.
This legal battle adds to the list of challenges Miller has faced in recent years. She spent ten months in prison for fraud and has been grappling with significant health issues, including a diagnosis of Burkitt lymphoma in 2018. Furthermore, Miller has been involved in various lawsuits, notably being sued by two former Dance Moms co-stars in 2014 for assault, defamation, and inflicting emotional distress.
