A Puerto Rican woman has expressed her dismay with President Biden's recent comments labeling Donald Trump's supporters as "garbage." The comment was made following a J.D. Vance rally at a rural airport in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Jessie Anderson, a 43-year-old Army veteran from Johnstown, didn't mince words. "Biden is a bumbling idiot - point blank. He starts talking, and then garbage literally flies out of his mouth," she said. Anderson, who has served as a combat medic for over a decade, criticized Biden's response to a comedian's joke that referred to Puerto Rico as a "floating island of garbage" during Trump's Madison Square Garden rally.

While Anderson believes the comedian Tony Hinchcliffe's remarks were "insulting," she doesn't hold Trump accountable for the joke. Proudly wearing a red Latina Veteran for Trump T-shirt, Anderson strongly encouraged her fellow Puerto Ricans to support the former president. She described Trump as "an absolute force of peace, power, and success" and urged people to vote for him, believing it to be beneficial for the nation and the economy.

Anderson also criticized Biden's name-calling of Trump supporters, comparing it to Hillary Clinton's "basket of deplorables" comment during the 2016 election. "We live in a democratic nation, one where there are multiple parties. Why are you going to resort to name-calling and isolating another party?" she queried, emphasizing that the Democratic Party is fostering division, violence, and hate, which she believes is detrimental to the unity of the nation.

Polling indicates a tight race between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, underscoring the high stakes of the upcoming election. Trump faced criticism for Hinchcliffe's set but distanced himself from the comedian, claiming he did not know him. This controversy holds significance, particularly in Pennsylvania, a key swing state with nearly half a million residents of Puerto Rican descent.

Bringing attention to the aftermath of Hurricane Ernesto, Anderson jabbed at Biden's lack of action, suggesting it contributed to Puerto Rico's struggles. "If you want to go ahead and say 'Puerto Rico is a floating pile of trash,' maybe it's because Biden has done nothing to clean it up. Bam," she asserted. Ending her remarks with a touch of humor, Anderson noted, "I have a temper. I'm a spicy Puerto Rican. God bless everyone's souls," with a smile.
