In an exclusive report, it has been revealed that the president of the National Education Association (NEA), Rebecca "Becky" Pringle, has visited the White House on multiple occasions during President Biden's term in office. A review of White House visitor logs by Fox News Digital found that Pringle made at least 24 visits to the White House between 2021 and early 2024.

The visitor logs show that Pringle had a series of meetings with high-ranking officials, including President Biden himself. In December 2022, she had a one-on-one meeting with the president, indicating the level of engagement between the NEA and the administration.

Pringle's visits were not limited to meetings with President Biden. She also had meetings with Vice President Harris's Deputy Chief of Staff Erin Wilson in October 2023. Additionally, Pringle met with two of First Lady Jill Biden's aides, along with a meeting with former White House Director of Domestic Council Susan Rice.

These visits were not just routine meetings but included participation in significant events. Pringle participated in a virtual event with First Lady Jill Biden and American Federation of Teachers president Randi Weingarten, just a day after President Biden's inauguration in January 2021.

Pringle's latest visit to the White House, however, drew intense criticism. During the NEA's Annual Meeting and Representative Assembly in Philadelphia, she delivered a speech that called for transformative social justice change in the education system. She emphasized the need to reclaim public education as a common good and transform it into a racially and socially just and equitable system. Pringle also vowed to protect public education and fight against privatization and vouchers, seemingly referring to school choice.

It is worth noting that Pringle has been a longstanding supporter of President Biden and Vice President Harris. She donated to Biden's 2020 campaign and expressed her commitment to re-electing them this year.

Pringle's emphasis on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in education has sparked controversy across the country. The Florida Board of Governors recently passed a regulation limiting public funding for DEI programs, citing concerns of preferential treatment based on race, color, sex, national origin, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

Critics of Pringle, such as school choice advocate Corey DeAngelis, have accused her of being power-hungry and trying to control the minds of students. DeAngelis called for defunding teachers' unions and allowing the money to follow the child.

As of now, the White House and NEA have not responded to requests for comment regarding Pringle's visits to the White House.

Pringle's extensive visits to the White House demonstrate the close relationship between the NEA and the Biden administration. It remains to be seen how Pringle's advocacy for social justice in education and her support for President Biden's reelection campaign will impact the nation's education policies in the coming years.
