**President-elect Trump to Meet with President Biden for Transition Talks**

President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled to meet with President Joe Biden in the Oval Office on Wednesday, according to an announcement from White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Saturday. This meeting marks a key step in the transition of power as Trump prepares to be inaugurated as the 47th president on January 20, 2025.

Jean-Pierre revealed that the meeting is set for 11:00 a.m., following President Biden's invitation. The upcoming meeting follows Vice President Kamala Harris's concession of the 2024 presidential election to Trump, ensuring a 'peaceful and orderly' transfer of power. This stands in contrast to 2020, when Trump did not extend a similar meeting to Biden, contesting the election results instead.

The tradition of the current first lady hosting the incoming first lady at the White House is also expected to be observed. Meanwhile, Trump has been actively assembling his transition team since his victory was declared on Wednesday. He made history by appointing Susie Wiles as the first female chief of staff, acknowledging her pivotal role in his previous campaigns.

"Susie Wiles just helped me achieve one of the greatest political victories in American history," Trump stated, praising her attributes and expressing confidence in her future contributions.

The transition effort is being led by Linda McMahon from professional wrestling fame and billionaire Howard Lutnick. Additionally, the Trump-Vance campaign announced the establishment of the "Trump Vance Inaugural Committee, Inc.," which will handle the planning of inauguration events. This organization is to be co-chaired by Steve Witkoff and Senator Kelly Loeffler, both longtime supporters of Trump.

Reflecting on his electoral success, Trump expressed gratitude to the American people and outlined the vision for his upcoming administration. He emphasized the significance of the inaugural celebrations as a tribute to American strengths and heritage, aiming to kick-start an era of renewed prosperity and common sense in the Oval Office.
