In a stern warning, President Joe Biden declared that an attack from Iran against Israel could occur sooner rather than later. He emphasized the unwavering commitment of the United States to stand by Israel's defense while cautioning Tehran against taking any actions. When asked about his message to Iran, President Biden simply stated, "Don't."

The heightened concern over a potential attack follows an airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus two weeks ago, raising alarms in Israel. President Biden recently conferred with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss the threats issued by Iran against the nation.

"Our commitment to Israel's security against these threats from Iran and its proxies is ironclad," President Biden emphasized during a press conference on Wednesday. He further reiterated the United States' determination to protect Israel's security, vowing to do everything possible to ensure its safety.

While John Kirby, spokesperson for the White House National Security Council, declined to provide specific details about the nature or timing of the threat, he emphasized that the potential attack posed a direct risk to Israel. However, Kirby also underlined that the U.S. was diligently taking measures to safeguard its own personnel and facilities.

To fortify deterrence efforts and ensure the safety of U.S. troops, a defense official disclosed that the U.S. was deploying additional assets to the region. Underlining the significance of maintaining a vigilant force posture, Kirby emphasized the importance of protecting both American interests and allies in the region.

The Biden administration remains steadfast in its dedication to supporting Israel, sending a clear message to Iran that any attempt to harm Israel's security will not succeed. As tensions continue to rise, the international community closely watches the developments in the Middle East and hopes for a peaceful resolution to the escalating situation.
