President Joe Biden is making his way to Wisconsin on Friday for a closely-watched campaign rally and an important interview with ABC News, as he seeks to solidify support for his candidacy and address concerns about his mental and physical fitness. As he boarded Air Force One, Biden flashed a thumbs-up, indicating his readiness for the day ahead.

Biden's visit to the battleground state of Wisconsin holds significant importance, as it provides him with an opportunity to connect with voters and demonstrate his ability to lead. A reporter asked Biden if he could still beat former President Donald Trump, to which he confidently replied, "yes."

The president faces growing pressure from some Democrats to publicly prove his mental and physical fitness. In response to these concerns, Biden will have a high-stakes opportunity to address them during an interview with ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday. Excerpts from the interview will air on "World News Tonight," and the full interview will be broadcast during a prime-time ABC network special at 8 p.m. ET.

Despite the pressure and doubts surrounding his campaign, Biden has been resolute in his determination to continue his presidential bid. During a July Fourth barbecue for military families, Biden assured the crowd that he was not going anywhere and stated, "I'm all in."

Recent discussions between Biden and Democratic governors have also showcased his commitment to his campaign. California Governor Gavin Newsom, who attended a closed-door meeting with Biden and other governors, praised Biden's resolve, stating that after the meeting, everyone expressed their support for the president.

However, not all feedback has been entirely positive. While most governors voiced their backing for Biden, sources revealed that a few expressed concerns about his debate performance and sought clarity on the way forward.

Furthermore, some congressional Democrats have gone public with their calls for Biden to step aside. Texas Representative Lloyd Doggett was the first lawmaker to suggest that Biden withdraw, while Massachusetts Representative Seth Moulton echoed these sentiments on Thursday.

To reassure Democrats and the American public, Biden conducted an interview with prominent Black radio host Earl Ingram of CivicMedia. In the interview, Biden admitted to making a mistake during the debate and acknowledged having a "bad night." However, he emphasized that he has a strong track record of accomplishments during his 3.5 years in politics.

As the campaign moves forward, Biden's visit to Wisconsin and the subsequent interview with ABC News will be closely watched by voters and political observers alike. It remains to be seen how Biden's performance in this critical juncture will influence his candidacy and presidency.
