President Biden is facing a wave of criticism from media outlets and commentators after a rare live interview with radio host Howard Stern, where he made several questionable claims. During the hour-long interview, Biden touched on various subjects, including a debate with former President Donald Trump and his involvement in a Delaware desegregation protest where he claimed to have been arrested as a teenager.

However, these claims made by the president have come under scrutiny from national media and political figures who are familiar with Biden's tendency to stray from the truth. The New York Times reported that Biden had once again stretched the truth about being arrested at a Delaware desegregation protest as a teenager, stating that there is no evidence to support his claim.

CNN also fact-checked the president's assertion and found that there is no evidence of Biden ever getting arrested during a civil rights protest. In the past, Biden has recounted his presence at the Delaware protest without mentioning any arrest, instead claiming that the police simply took him back home that day.

This is not the first time President Biden has faced criticism for embellishing or inventing details about his past. Earlier this week, he revived a debunked claim about driving an 18-wheeler truck, which CNN fact-checked and proved to be untrue. Biden has a history of exaggerating or inventing biographical details, such as his claim of driving a tractor-trailer during his high school years.

Biden also faced backlash on social media, with conservative commentator Greg Price calling out questionable remarks made by the president during the Stern interview, labeling them as lies. One of the remarked-upon lies was Biden's claim of saving "half a dozen" lives during his time as a lifeguard.

Another questionable statement raised eyebrows, with Biden claiming to have received "salacious pictures" from women during the 1970s and giving them to the Secret Service. It is unclear how the Secret Service would have been involved, as senators do not receive Secret Service protection, and Biden only received protection in 2008 when he became Vice President.

Critics are highlighting these instances as further evidence of Biden's habit of stretching the truth to fit his narrative. Conservative commentator Rita Panahi mocked the president, saying, "Another day, another Biden lie... at least no one got eaten by cannibals in this one."

With multiple instances of questionable claims, some are questioning how President Biden can effectively debate if he can't keep his lies straight. This criticism follows earlier controversy when Biden seemed to imply that his uncle was eaten by cannibals after his plane was shot down during World War II, a claim later debunked by the White House press secretary.

As President Biden faces growing scrutiny for his habit of stretching the truth, it remains to be seen how these latest revelations will affect his credibility and public perception.
