Pennsylvania is buzzing with political activity as key figures from both major parties crisscross the state ahead of Election Day on November 5th. On Friday, Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota made an appearance in West Philadelphia and later attended a Democratic fundraiser in Fishtown. The event was emphasized by appearances from former Philadelphia Councilmember Helen Gym and Mayor Cherelle L. Parker, who underscored the crucial role Pennsylvania plays as a swing state.

Vice President Kamala Harris is making her presence felt with multiple stops scheduled in major cities. Harris will hold a rally featuring Beyoncé tonight in Houston and will return to Philadelphia on Sunday. Adding to the star-studded political scene, former President Barack Obama and rock legend Bruce Springsteen will headline a rally and concert in Philadelphia on Monday.

Former President Donald Trump is also making his rounds. Trump will rally supporters in State College on Saturday and has subsequent stops planned in Allentown and Delaware County. Today, Trump is in Texas for an interview with Joe Rogan’s podcast.

Pennsylvania's political landscape is further charged with endorsements and appearances from high-profile Democrats. U.S. Senator Bob Casey will attend a fundraiser on Saturday featuring Hollywood actors Robert DeNiro, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Kerry Washington. In addition, First Lady Jill Biden will focus on get-out-the-vote events in both Philadelphia and Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Pennsylvania Secretary of State Al Schmidt, along with the Philadelphia City Commissioners, provided a tour of the city's ballot counting facility on Friday. The tour aimed to highlight the secure and efficient processes in place for counting and storing ballots.
